Information we collect
When you use the inquiry form, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, and the reason for your inquiry. Depending on what you write, your message may contain health-related or otherwise sensitive information. Please provide only the information reasonably needed for an initial response.
Our web host, Web Hosting Canada (WHC), may also process technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and access times for website operation, security, and troubleshooting.
How we use information
Information submitted through the website is used to respond to your inquiry, understand what service you may be seeking, identify an appropriate next step, maintain necessary administrative records, and protect the security and operation of the website.
How inquiries are handled
The inquiry form sends your submission by email to The Powell Collective using the website’s email-delivery service and Microsoft 365. The form does not store a separate copy of the submission in the WordPress database. Information may therefore be processed by service providers that support the website and email system, including WHC and Microsoft 365.
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be disclosed where required or permitted by law, or where reasonably necessary to obtain professional, technical, or legal support subject to appropriate confidentiality expectations.
Retention and safeguards
Inquiry information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, complete related administrative follow-up, and meet applicable legal or professional obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website or email transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Cookies, website analytics, advertising measurement, and campaign attribution
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website use and the Google tag to measure successful inquiry submissions that may be associated with Google Ads. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser or device information, referral source, and interactions with the website. Depending on your consent choice, Google may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information such as your IP address, page URL, and ad-click identifiers. You can accept or decline optional website and advertising measurement through the website privacy notice. Declining does not affect access to the website or inquiry form.
When campaign parameters such as source, medium, campaign, search term, or ad content are present in a link, the website temporarily stores them in browser session storage and includes them with an inquiry submission so The Powell Collective can understand which outreach led to the inquiry. These parameters do not contain the inquiry message itself.
Google describes how it processes information in its Privacy Policy. WordPress and the hosting platform may also use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for administration, security, or basic website operation.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask questions about this notice or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information provided through a website inquiry, subject to any applicable legal or professional requirements. You may also withdraw consent to further use of inquiry information, subject to the same limitations.
Important limitations
The website inquiry form is intended for initial contact only. It is not an emergency or crisis service and should not be used to send urgent or highly sensitive information. Privacy and consent practices that apply after a professional relationship begins may be addressed in separate service or informed-consent documents.
